Jeep vs. Chevy: Safety & Technology

If you're looking to stay protected and connected during your daily adventures, Jeep SUVs provide a lot more technology than the current Chevy lineup. Most new Jeep models feature the Uconnect® multimedia system and a host of active and passive safety suites. Chevy SUVs do come with the Chevrolet MyLink™ system, but it's only available on higher trim packages, and the safety systems aren't nearly as comprehensive. Important technology features available with Jeep SUVs include:
  • Premium audio systems from Alpine® and Harmon Kardon® are optional with most Jeep SUVs
  • Uconnect® multimedia systems ranging from 3-in. to 8.4-in. with navigation
  • Personalized instrument cluster
  • Over 70 available safety and security features with select models and trim levels
  • Jeep SUVs come with front and rear crumple zones, advanced airbag technology, and steel body construction for added protection
  • Park Assist systems, Blind Spot Monitoring, LaneSense® Lane Departure Warning with Lane Keep Assist, and Forward Collision Warning with Active Braking are also available
