Jim started selling cars for his Dad when he was 18, right after his graduation from high school. He took to it like a fish in water! You have to remember, this was the days before the Internet. Customers relied on salespeople for the information they needed. And, Jim knew all about cars and their history. But, that wasn't all. Jim found he loved EVERY aspect of the car business: the staff...the products...the activity...and, especially...the customer. If Jim were to sum up the secret of his success, he'd say he "just likes and understands people". It's as simple as that. He also likes boating, fishing and golf...when he finds the time. You see, Jim is never one to shy away from hard work. In fact, you'll find him at the store most days and into the night. Jim devoted 25 years to serving as Chairman of the Wisconsin's Ford Dealer Ad Board. He's involved in his own advertising as well. You may recognize him from his TV ads, as many folks do. Outside of the office, he hears, "THAT would be Jim Griffin" quite often. Next time you spot him, be sure to point that out!

I began my career in the Automotive Industry in 2004. I started off as a line technician and have worked my way through the ranks to the position of Service Manager here at Griffin Ford, a position I have held since 2021. Taking care of customers and seeing their faces when things don't go as planned but then get resolved is extremely satisfying. Keeping our customers on the road with the least amount of down time is our goal here at Griffin Ford. When I'm not at work, I enjoy spending time with my family, boating and going home to Canada.
